Children as creators of peace
Objectives: The artist Marielis Seyler documents the destructions of the war on the border of Croatia and Bosnia. She makes b/w enlargements on which children in school age from 4 nations paint, draw in and make with their creativity an imaginative reconstruction of destroyed life structures in the area. Goals: social learning by doing creative arousal of emotional intelligence of children using the emotional intelligence of children as an embassy for adults awakening the sensitivity of young people for the destinies of people in war awareness of the destruction of war and of the importance of social peace moving social thinking and responsibility through play
